Tell us a bit more about yourself?
“I was born and raised in Gangnam, South Korea.
I was trained at Tony & Guys in London and South Korea.
I have 10 years hairstyling experience in Gangnam, South Korea and Singapore.”
What made you decide to work in Singapore?
I was in Singapore in 2006 for Tony & Guys Hairstyling Training.
And I was inspired by Singapore – it is so clean and beautiful.
I wanted to return to Singapore to work and learn English.”
How do you define Korean Style?
Korean Style is glamourous and has alot of volume.
Also, Korean Style changes according to season, like in summer,
hairstyle is long hair and ladies can tie it up.
In winter, hairstyle is short so that it is easier to put a scarf around it.
In autumn, hairstyle is long or medium. And in Spring, hairstyle is medium length.

What is your personal favorite Korean Hairstyle?
“It must be Volume Magic Rebonding.
The hair is straight but curled in at the hair roots so that you hair is soft,
smooth and manageable.”

” I get my inspirations from K Drama like Gianna Jun – My Love from the Stars.”

” I have a close mentor in South Korea his name is Lee Soon Chul.
He is the Celebrity Stylist for SNSD also known as Girls’ Generation.
I always get advice from him on the latest trends in South Korea.”

What advice can you give for someone who wants a Korean Hair Make Over?
“I would look at the hair condition. If your hair is too dry, brittle and damaged,
we will do a 4-step hair treatment before we do any rebonding or perm.”
